What is AIPVT?

• All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT) is previously an Entrance Test for admission into the Bachelor of Veterinary Course for 15% seats in all over India
• At Present AIPVT is a Counselling for admission into the Bacahelor Veterinary Course in Inida for 15% seats conducted by Veterinary Council of India.
• The Counseling for admission to B.V.Sc.& A.H(Animal Husbandry) Course under 15% All India Quota seats shall be conducted by the Veterinary Council of India.
• The seats will be allotted to candidates as per their NEET UG Rank, choice, availability, reservation policy, etc.
• The selection of candidates for admission to B.V.Sc.& A.H. degree course under 15% All-India Quota shall be applicable to the recongnized Veterinary Colleges in India.
• The Counseling shall be conducted by way of using the NEET Rank List (UG) and as per the selection/eligibility criteria under VCI-MSVE Regulations-2016.

Eligibility:

• NATIONALITY: Candidates should be Indian Nationals.
• OVERSEAS CITIZEN OF INDIA / PERSON WITH INDIAN ORIGIN: The Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) / Person with Indian Origin (PIO) also will be eligible for online registration for counseling for admission to B.V.Sc. &A.H. course under the 15% quota. However, such candidates shall have to produce sufficient proof and will be considered under general category for all purposes. The responsibility of the Veterinary Council of India in these cases will be limited to allocation of seats only.
• AGE:
  The candidate must have attained the age of 17 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 31st December, 2020. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST)) candidates, there will be relaxation of maximum of five years (5 years) and three years (3 years) in case of OBC and 10 years for PH candidates.
• ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: He or She has passed the qualifying examination as defined under VCI - MSVE Regulations, 2016 with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English (as a core course).
• PHYSICAL DISABILITY:
  A candidate shall not be allowed admission to BVSc&AH degree course including those admitted under 15% reserved quota of VCI if he or she suffers the following disabilities, namely:
  (a) disability of total body including disability of chestorspine more than 50%,
  (b) disability of lower limb of more than 50%,
  (c) disability of upper limb,
  (d) visually handicapped candidates and those with hearing disability,
  (e) candidates with progressive diseases like myopathies etc.
  (f) disabilities which otherwise would interfere in the performance of the duties of a veterinarian

Note: The disability shall be certified by a duly constituted and Government authorized Medical Board comprising of at least three specialists out of which two shall be of the specialty concerned and the candidate has to present him or her-self before the Medical Board and the last valid disability certificate of the candidate from a Medical Board shall not be more than three months old from the date of submitting his or her certificate for disabled candidates.

Application Fee:

• Fee for online registration is Rs.1000/- for General, Rs.900/- for OBC/EWS candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PH candidates.

Important Dates:

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR VERIFICATION AT THE ALLOTTED COLLEGE AT THE TIME OF REPORTING/ADMISSION.

The candidates allotted seats should produce the following documents in original along with self attested copy of the documents for verification at the allotted College/University at the time of reporting/admission failing which they shall not be entitled for admission at the allotted College.

• Copy of VCI Counseling Registration confirmation page downloaded from Council's website.
• Copy of Application Form of NEET- UG as downloaded by the candidate
• Admit Card of NEET UG issued by CBSE for appearing in the NEET Examination
• Rank Card of NEET UG issued by CBSE.
• Aaaddhar Card/Voter ID Card/Ration Card/Passport as the case may be written in the Application Form of NEET - UG (any one of the ID is required as mentioned in NEET application)
• Date of Birth Certificate (if Secondary School Examination Certificate does not have the same)
• Secondary School Examination or equivalent Certificate
• 10+2 Certificate or Provisional Certificate (Qualifying Examination Certificate).
• Character Certificate from the School or College last attended.
• Six passport size coloured Photographs (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form in NEET UG).
• In case of OCI/PIO candidate, he/she has to produce OCI/PIO card issued by the appropriate authority.
• The students educated abroad, equivalency certificate from AIU should be produced

The candidate should also produce the following certificate in original, if applicable, at the allotted College at the time of reporting/admission.

• OBC NCL/SC/ST or PWD Certificate if required
