The counselling for allotment of candidates to Post Graduate Medical/ Dental Degree (M.D./ M.S./ M.D.S.) courses for the year 2022-23 will be done by CENTAC.

For Minority Quota Seats in Private Medical/ Dental Colleges:

For Minority Quota seats in Minority Medical/ Dental Colleges candidates who are residents of the U.T. of Puducherry and belonging to respective minorities are only eligible, i.e., for the minority quota seats in PIMS, candidates who are resident of U.T. of Puducherry and belonging to Christian religious minority alone are eligible. For the minority quota seats in SVMC&RI, candidates who are resident of the U.T. of Puducherry and belonging to Telugu linguistic minority alone are eligible. The details of these seats and the fee structure will be notified by the Health Department. Candidates are advised to check the CENTAC website for updates on these.
U.T. of Puducherry candidates claiming seats under Christian Minority Quota should produce valid proof like Transfer Certificate or Community Certificate to prove his/her religion is CHRISTIANITY. If CHRISTIANITY is not mentioned in TC or Community Certificate, attach certificate as per Annexure - VII.
U.T. of Puducherry candidates claiming seats under Telugu Minority Quota should produce valid proof like Transfer Certificate or Certificate/letter from the school last studied stating that his/her mother tongue is TELUGU as per the school admission records. If Mother Tongue TELUGU is not mentioned in TC, attach certificate as per Annexure - VIII.
Conversion of Minority Quota seats into General Management Quota seats: In case these minority quota seats are not filled in the TWO rounds of Counselling, then these unfilled seats will be converted to OPEN MERIT management quota seats and shall be filled up among the Puducherry domicile candidates. If any seats remaining vacant thereafter shall be filled up as Management quota seats in All India basis. (As per G.O. Ms. No. 36 Dated 25/08/2017, Chief Secretariat (Health), Puducherry).

Registration Fees:
