What is HITSEEE ?

• Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Exam(HITSEEE)-2019 is an Entrance exam conducted by Hindustan University for admission into the 1st year B.Tech programmes into its University.
• Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science is one of the most sought after engineering Institutions in Tamil Nadu, reputed for its highly qualified and experienced faculty and excellent infrastructural facilities.
• Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, informally Hindustan University, formerly Hindustan College of Engineering, is an institute deemed-to-be-university of engineering headquartered in Chennai, India.

Courses Offered:

Eligibility:

• B.Tech./ B.des.Programmes: Candidates seeking admission to the first year of B.Tech degree programme must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (12th) prescribed by the State Board/Intermediate/Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi)/The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi) with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry or equivalent subjects.

Academic Stream:	A minimum average of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics put together.
Vocational Stream:	A minimum average of 50% marks in the related subjects and vocational subjects (Theory and Practical).
For B.Tech. Bio Technology Only:	A minimum average of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology put together

• B. ARCH. PROGRAMME (5 Years): All applicants for B.Arch. Course should have written the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) (www.nata.nic.in) conducted by Council of Architecture, India and secure the minimum eligible marks as per COA norms.
• AGE LIMIT: Upper age limit must be 19 years as on 30th April 2019.

• Candidates should fill HITSEEE Application form through link provided in the website: www.hindustanuniv.ac.in
• Alternatively, they can send through registered post along with an Acknowledgement. Envelope is provided with application for posting.
• The completed application form should reach the admission office on or before 08-04-2019.

Admit Cards:

• HITSEEE 2019 admit cards will be available for download on the official website from April onwards

• Based on the entrance examination(HITSEEE-2019) score and marks in the qualifying examination, a rank list is prepared for admission into U.G (Engineering & Technology) Programmes.
