• Shiv Nadar University Chennai is established by "Shiv University Act 2018" by the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly to promote, conceptualize and bring about a paradigm shift through the development of outstanding leadership, research, knowledge and ideas for education and allied development sectors. Shiv Nadar University Chennai is part of the Shiv Nadar Foundation that has a legacy of excellence of over 30 years in education with over 40,000 alumni and students and an investment of over Rs 10,000 cr in building world-class institutions.
• ALL Engineering Programs of College of Engineering are now offered by the School of Engineering of Shiv Nadar University Chennai
• All admissions to SNU Chennai are purely merit based and no other criteria is applicable or accepted.

Eligibility Criteria:

• 10th Standard School Board Marks : Only students with minimum 60% Marks in aggregate are eligible to apply
• 12th Standard School Board Marks : Only students with minimum 75% Marks in aggregate are eligible for admissions.
• NOTE : Marks below the minimum requirement cannot be rounded off to be shown as 60% or 75% achievement.
• Applicants from School Boards which provide Grade / GPA based results will have to furnish the marks in equivalent %. For conversion from Grades to %, methodology / direction provided by the School Board must be used.
• Applicants, whose 12th Standard results are expected to be delayed beyond May 2026 will have to provide Predicted Marksheet from their School. Admission may be considered basis Predicted Marks; however, if actual Marks are not minimum 75% in aggregate once results are declared, the provisional Admission Offer will be withdrawn.

  Sponsorship Letter from Parent of Applicants confirming that the Parent willbear all expenses of the student
• NRI Category : Confirmation of NRI Status of Sponsoring parent from Indian Embassy / Valid Work Permit.
• SPORTS Category : Proof of excellence during the past 2 years
• EXTRA-CURRICULAR Category : Proof of excellence during the past 2 years.
• Any other document that Applicant may wish to upload.

SNUCEE Slot Booking:

• SNUCEE slots are available on "1st come – 1st booked" basis.
• Exam Hall Capacities for all Exam Slots are fixed. Hall Capacities cannot be increased.
• Slot can be booked only from the options displayed at the time of Slot Booking
• If Application Fee Payment is not paid within 15 minutes, the Slot booked will be automatically cancelled. The Applicant will then have to go the Dashboard again to re-book the slot and pay the Application Fee.
