MyRank:Notification - Correction in Particulars of the Online Application Form of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main)-2026 Session 1

The National Testing Agency is in receipt of numerous representations from the candidates regarding giving them an opportunity to edit/modify their particulars in the Online Application Form of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2026 Session 1.

In view of the above and the interest of the students, it has been decided to provide an opportunity for the candidates to modify their particulars in the Online Application Form of JEE (Main)-2026 Session 1. The schedule for the same is given below:

All the registered candidates for the said Examination are advised to visit the website (https:/jeemain.nta.nic.in/) and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make correction/s in their particulars, in their respective Application Form, if required.
The candidates are allowed to make the corrections, latest by 02 December 2025 (up to 11:50 P.M.). Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned either through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI.
Since it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship, the candidates are advised to do the correction very carefully, as no further opportunity for correction will be given to the candidates.

LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FOR JEE (MAIN) 2026 SESSION-1 IS 27^TH NOVEMBER 2025 AND THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER EXTENSION OF DATE.

Candidates are also advised to look into the response of queries received by the NTA and uploaded as FAQs on the website.

Corrections in the Application Form for the JEE (Main) - 2026 Session-1 examination

2	Candidates shall be allowed to change any one of the fields:	i. Candidate Name or ii. Father Name or iii. Mother Name
3	Candidates shall be allowed to change all the fields:	i. Class 10^th/equivalent details ii. Class 12th/equivalent details iii. State Code of Eligibility
4	Candidates shall be allowed to change examination Cities based on their Permanent and Present addresses (it is once again clarified that NTA is not bound to follow the choices given by the candidate)	i. Examination City Selection ii. Medium of the examination
5	Candidates shall be allowed to change all the fields:	i. Date of Birth ii. Gender iii. Category iv. Sub-category/PwD(If not verified by UDID Portal) v. Signature
6	Candidates shall be allowed to add the field	i. Paper
7	Candidates shall be allowed to change identity details (Only for candidates who registered with identity other than Aadhaar):	i. Aadhaar details
If there is an impact on the fee, then the additional fee will be charged as applicable. However, in any case the fee will not be reimbursed.
Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee, if any.
Only one-time correction will be allowed to the candidate i.e. once the corrections are done and submitted, the form shall be frozen.
