• An applicant seeking admission under NRI/NRI sponsored quota shall submit application online within the prescribed date. Non-Resident Indians staying abroad for a minimum period of one year (as on the last date for submission of online application), can only sponsor a candidate, for admission under the quota.
• An Indian Citizen who stays abroad for employment/carrying on business or vocation outside India or stays abroad under circumstances indicating an intention for an uncertain duration of stay abroad is a non-resident. (Indian Persons posted in U.N. Organisations and Officials deputed VDFCabroad by Central/State Governments and Public Sector undertakings on temporary assignments are also treated as non-residents).
• Non-Resident international citizens of Indian Origin are treated on par with non-resident Indian citizens (NRI/NRI sponsored).
• An individual will be treated as a Non-Resident in India in any previous year if he/she has not resided in India for:
  1. At least 182 days in the year of admission, OR
  2. At least 365 days during 4 years preceding the year of admission AND at least 60 days in the year of admission.
• An individual who does not satisfy above mentioned conditions will be treated as Resident Indian.

Eligibility Criteria:

• General Instructions for Bi.P.C. & M.P.C Stream courses:
  A good knowledge of English is compulsory. A certificate of the candidate's proficiency in English issued by the respective Indian Mission abroad or recognized agencies should accompany their applications for admission.
  The students seeking admission under the quota are not required to appear for any Entrance test(s) of the state or the country.
• Age limit for Bi.P.C. & M.P.C Stream courses:
  The applicant should have completed 17 years of age as on 31^st December of the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years.

Bi.P.C stream:

• Eligibility:
  The applicant must have passed 12^th standard (English Medium) from an Indian Board or an equivalent Board outside the country with the subjects of Biological and Physical Sciences for admission into B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Tech. (Food Technology) and B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science (Bi.P.C. stream) under NRI/NRI Sponsored quota.
• Criteria for selection:
  The selection of candidates shall be based on the merit list prepared on the basis of the marks secured in Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent. In case of a tie, the marks in the optional subjects viz., Biology/ (Botany, Zoology) followed by Physics and Chemistry shall be taken into consideration and in case of further tie, the age of the candidate shall be taken into consideration and the older candidates shall be given preference.

M.P.C stream:

• Eligibility:
  The applicant must have passed 12^th standard (English Medium) from an Indian Board or an equivalent Board outside the country with the subjects of Mathematics and Physical Sciences for admission into B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering), B.Tech. (Food Technology) and B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science (M.P.C stream) under NRI/NRI Sponsored quota.
• Criteria for selection:
  The selection of candidates shall be based on the merit list prepared on the basis of the marks secured in Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent. In case of a tie, the marks in the optional subjects viz., Mathematics followed by Physics and Chemistry shall be taken into consideration and in case of further tie, the age of the candidate shall be taken into consideration and the older candidates shall be given preference.

• 1. An undertaking by the candidate and parent on stamp paper (Rs. 100/- or equivalent currency) dully notarized (ANNEXURE-I)
• 2. An undertaking by the Sponsorer on stamp paper (Rs. 100/- or equivalent currency) dully notarized (ANNEXURE-II).
• 3. Birth Certificate/Proof of Date of birth
• 4. Higher Secondary (10+2) or Equivalent Examination Mark Sheet
• 5. Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate issued by the Head of the Institute/University last attended (whichever is applicable)
• 6. Bonafide/ Conduct Certificate issued by the Head of Institution last attended.
• 7. Medical fitness Certificate
• 8. Self certification documents of sponsorer showing the proof of NRI status.
• 9. Work Permit or Business Establishment, as applicable
• 10. Valid Passport and Visa of the Financial Sponsor.
• 11. The Bank statement showing the latest transaction of the previous 6 months.
• 12. The candidates attending the counselling should bring a Demand Draft of Rs. 9,53,450/- (Nine lakhs fifty three thousand four hundred and fifty rupees only) in favour of "THE COMPTROLLER, PJTSAU" payable at Hyderabad and Rs. 46,550/- (Forty six thousand five hundred and fifty rupees only) in cash for the immediate payment at the respective allotted college for admission.
