NIIT University (Or NU) is a private university founded in 2009. It is a not-for- profit institution, and is sponsored by NIIT Ltd. It is located in Neemrana Rajasthan in India. NIIT inviting applications from the candidates from who are applying for under graduate programmes at NIIT University.

Eligibility:

• Greater than or equal to 60% marks or equivalent in Class X in five subjects (Compulsory subjects - English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. The fifth can be a subject of applicant's choice). The board can be CBSE/ICSE/any other board in India or an equivalent board if from a country outside India
• Greater than or equal to 60% marks in Class XII in five subjects (Compulsory subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB) & English. The fifth can be a subject of applicant's choice). The board can be any recognized board in India or an equivalent board if from a country outside India. In case you are from ISC board or have taken four subjects, aggregate of four subjects will be considered.
• Greater than or equal to 60% marks in PCM in Class XII if you are opting for CSE or ECE streams and in PCB, PCM or PCMB if you are choosing BT.
• Should be appearing in the board examination in March/April 2017 or should have the necessary mark sheets if you have appeared in 2015 or 2016.
• Should have JEE Main/BITSAT/SAT/Any other State Engineering Entrance Examination's rank/score otherwise applicant will be required to appeared in the NIIT University Engineering Test (NUET)

Courses Offered:

NU offers the following streams under the B.Tech programme:
1. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
2. Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE)
3. Biotechnology (BT)

Application Fee:

The Application fee can be paid either online or by cash/cheque/ demand draft in favor of NIIT University, payable at Gurgaon.
Application Processing Fee (EAD & RAD): INR 1,500

Admission modes:

NU offers admission for its B. Tech programme via two modes:
1. Early Admission Mode(EAD)
2. Regular Admission Mode(RAD)

Application Procedure:

Step 1:

Application forms are available at online and as well as offline mode.

• Download the admission application form either from
  https://nucleus.niituniversity.in/applicant/login.aspx
• or obtain it from any of the designated Admissions Offices of NU

Step 2:

Submit the duly completed admission application form along with all the required documents, using ANY of the following modes:
• Online at website: niituniversity.in. Attach scanned copies of all the required documents as specified in the application form
• Courier the printed copy of the form by post to the NU Central Admissions Office at NIIT House, 85, Sector 32, Institutional Area, Gurgaon, Haryana - 122001.
• E- Mail a scanned copy to btech@niituniversity.in along with the scanned copies of all the documents required.
• Submit a printed copy of the form in person to a duly authorized representative, details of which are available on our website.

Step 3:

Schedule your PCI(Personal Counseling Interaction) online by selecting the PCI location closest to you and the time slot most convenient for you.

Step 4:

In the absence of JEE Main/BITSAT/SAT/Any State Engineering Entrance Examination Rank/Score, the applicant will be required to appear in the NU Engineering Test (NUET).

Step 5:

The eligible applicants undergo the PCI (Personal Counseling Interaction) either face-to-face or through video conferencing on the day and time selected by them after completing a written questionnaire

The following will be assessed during the PCI:

• English communication skills - written & oral
• Interest & hobbies
• Degree of self-awareness
• Out-of-the-box thinking
• Reason for the choice of stream

Regular Admission Exam Pattern: (If applicant do not have valid JEE/BITSAT Score)

Mode of Exam: Online(MCQ)
