What is SHUATS ?

• Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, formerly Allahabad Agricultural Institute (SHUATS -2019), is a public autonomous university in Allahabad, India, run by 'Sam Higginbottom Educational and Charitable Society, Allahabad.
• SHUATS inviting applications from all over india from the candidates who wish to join in B.Sc Agriculture / B.Tech course in its university through an Entrance Test conducted by its own.

Courses Offered:

Eligibility:

• For B.Sc Agriculture: 10+2 with PCM or PCB or PCMB or Inter Ag.(Marks: Minimum 50% in aggregate)
• For B.Sc Biotechnology: 10+2 with PCM or PCB or PCMB Agriculture (Marks: Minimum 45% in aggregate)
• For B.Tech Biotechnology/Biochemical Engineering: 10+2 with PCM or PCB or PCMB Agriculture (Marks: Minimum 45% in aggregate)
• For All Remaining B.Tech Programmes: 10+2 with PCM or PCMB (Marks: Minimum 45% in aggregate)

Application Procedure:

Application Fee: Rs.1400/-

• Online Payment (Net Banking / Debit or Credit Card) : Enter your Query No. and Query Code and pay application fee.
• Offline application:The prospectus and application forms will be available on cash payment of Rs. 400.00 (i.e. Rs.400/- for Prospectus and Application Forms ) from the university fee counter on any working day, i.e., from Monday to Friday (09:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m.).
• The application forms A & B duly completed in all respect and accompanied with an account payee bank draft of prescribed entrance test/ direct interview Fee (Table No. 1) in favour of SHUATS, payable at Allahabad or a university cash receipt of the aforesaid amount must reach The Registrar, SHUATS, PO. Agricultural Institute, Allahabad on or before May 15, 2019.
• Demand Draft: Make a Demand Draft in favor of The Registrar, SHUATS, Payable at Allahabad.
• Take the printout of Online Application Form. Affix a Photograph in the printout of online form and fill payment Details. Mention your Query Number, Name and Contact Phone Number on the reverse page of the payment details. Send the print out of online form along with payment details through registered post to

Admit Cards:

• The admit card will be available on the website of SHUATS only (www.shuats.edu.in) from May 15, 2019 The applicant is required to print the admit card from the university Website at www.shuats.edu.in. However, he/ she is required to bring a passport-size photograph (similar to that pasted on the application form) along with the admit card to the entrance-test center for verification.

• UG- 2 (Agriculture Group) (For the Subject Group Code) AGRI
  A) Compulsory Section: General Aptitude
  B) Agriculture Section: AGRI

Note : Candidates of all subject groups mentioned above are required to attempt the compulsory section (A) and any Three Subjects from the optional section (B) as per their qualifying examination and subject group code filled in the admission form.

• Admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes shall be granted through ENTRANCE TEST, strictly on the basis of merit. However, there are few programmes for which the admission will take place through DIRECT INTERVIEW, which will be held on July 15, 2019 followed by registration and admission by depositing the fees on the same day.
