What is MET ?
Malaviya Entrance Test (MET) is conducted by Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) for admission into 1st year B.Tech courses .It is a Technical Residential University located in the city of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
It was granted the status of "autonomous institute" by the University Grants Commission in 2011.The college became a university on 1 st December 2013.
It was also one of the 127 technical institutions in India.The University offers different undergraduate and post graduate programmes.

Eligibility:
B.Tech.: The candidate should have passed 10 + 2 examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) and also with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category ) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry each without grace.
Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply.

Application Fee:
Rs. 1,500/- for General/OBC.
Rs. 750/- for
SC/ST/Female/Transgender candidates.
Mode of Application: Online / Offline
Online: Online applications will be available at the official website of the MMMUT which is mentioned bottom of this notification.
Offline: The OMR application form can also be obtained through post by sending a written request to The Coordinator, Malaviya Entrance Test (MET), Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur -273 010 (UP) having complete postal address with PIN code and demand draft of Rs. 1,550/- (including Rs. 50/- postal charges) for General/OBC and Rs. 800/- (including Rs. 50/- postal charges) for SC/ST/Female/Transgender candidates drawn in favour of Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur payable at Gorakhpur.
The candidate is required to fill separate application form for each course.
Admit Cards:
Admit card can be downloaded from the University website www.mmmut.ac.in/met. However, the original admit card will be made available to the candidates at the time of entrance test in the examination hall.

Admission Procedure:
The results of MET along with answer keys will be declared in the first week of June, 2018.Based on performance of candidates in MET, separate merit list will be prepared for each paper.
The various round(s) of counseling and spot counseling shall be conducted in order of merit of eligible candidates of MET based on their combined rank, even if they belong to reserved category at MMMUT, Gorakhpur. Advantage of their reserved category rank shall be provided at the time of allotment of seats depending upon their eligibility.
