What is NATA- 2018 ?

• National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). NATA is conducted by (COA) Council of Architecture which is a body of Council of Architecture, New Delhi in India (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education).
• NATA is the only Common Aptitude Test for admissions into 5 years B.Arc(Architecture) Degree Course at all recognized Institutions all over country.

Why NATA ?

• The purpose of conducting NATA is to provide a single scheme of examination for holding aptitude test and to facilitate prospective students all over the country to apply for admissions in architecture.NATA measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.
• Architecture should be conducted and such test should not be combined with the tests for admissions to Engineering, Pharmacy, Medicine and other disciplines.
• As per the Minimum Standards of Architectural Education Regulations, qualifying in an aptitude test in Architecture is mandatory for admission to B.Arch. degree course.

Eligibility:

• 10+2 or equivalent examination of Central/State Govts. with 50% aggregate marks and with Mathematics as a compulsory subject of examination.
• 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Govts. with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics as a compulsory subject of examination
• International Baccalaureate Diploma passed/appearing, after 10 years of Schooling with 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.

Application Fee:

• A candidate applying for NATA- 2018 has to pay INR 1800/- (Rupees One thousand and eight hundred only)
• For SC/ ST candidates the application fee is Rs. 1500/- (One thousand and five hundred only).

Filling up the application form is in two stages as outlined:
• Stage I- Registration Process: To apply for NATA-2018 candidate need to register on the NATA portal at www.nata.in
• At the time of registration condidate need to create a user id and password for login to NATA application.
• Stage II Submission of Application Form:Login into NATA- 2018 portal with chosen credentials, Fill-in the MANDATORY fields which is mentioned and Submit the application by paying mentioned application fee.

Admit Cards:

• For each Applicant, an Admit Card will be generated according to the schedule notified indicating the allotted Examination Centre for NATA - 2018 and a downloadable version of the admit card will be published on the respective webpage of the candidate concerned.

• Admissions will be based on the performance of the candidate in the NATA -2018 Entrance Exam.
