MyRank:Notification - West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations(WBJEE)-2018 Notification

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or the WBJEE is a state-government controlled centralized test, conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board for admission to private and governmental medical and engineering institutions in West Bengal.
There are actually two separate tests for medical (also called WBJEE Medical) and engineering (also called WBJEE).

Engineering, Bio-Technology, B.Tech. (Diary Technology), B.Tech. (Agr. Engg.), B.Tech. (Food Science and Technology),B.Arch(Architecture), B. Tech (Marine Engineering), B. Tech (Computer Sc & Engg).
B.Sc. (Ag)/ B.Sc. (Hort)/ B.V.Sc. & A.H/B.F.Sc.
B. Pharmacy, Pharma. D.

The lower age limit is 17 (seventeen) years as on 31.12.2018. A candidate should have been born on or before 31.12.2001. There is no upper age limit in appearing in the WBJEE-2018
Must pass '10+2' or equivalent examination from any recognised Council/ Board with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology as compulsory subjects with at least 60%.
For Architecture: Candidate must also qualify either in the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi or in Paper 2 of JEE Mains conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education.As per the norms and standards of the Council of Architecture (COA)

Through Online: Candidates can apply through official website of WBJEE only. The official link for application registration is given at bottom of this notification

Admit cards will be generated on the notified date for the student to download and take a print. Candidate has to carry a printed hard copy of the admit card to the examination centre.

Paper-I - Mathematics
Paper-II - Physics & Chemistry (combined).
Candidates appearing in both Paper-I and Paper-II and who are awarded ranks will be eligible for admission in Engineering/ Technology/Architecture/ Pharmacy Courses in all institutes
Candidates appearing in Paper-II only and who are awarded ranks will be eligible for admission only in Pharmacy Courses (except in Jadavpur University)

Counseling and seat allocation will be purely on merit basis i.e. based on the performance in the Entrance Examination(WBJEE)-2018
